Collection and recycling of scrapped cars
Bilgjenvinning AS cooperates with the car importer’s material-company - Autoretur AS - for collection and recycling of out dated vehicles (car wrecks). In order to make it easy for the car-owner to deliver the wreck to the collection point, Bilgjenvinning AS has an agreement with car-collectors regarding purchase of depolluted ELV’ s. To see where these are located, visit Bilgjenvinning. Bilgjenvinning takes care of transportation from the collection point to the car yard, where the cars can be fragmented and recycled. Bilgjenvinning AS is owned by Hellik Teigen AS and Ragnsells AS.
Veolia Miljø is a main operator in cooperation with Autoretur since 18. May 2009. Veolia Miljø has a national network of 47 major recycling stations with an annual handling of more than 1 million tons.
Veolia Miljø is a leading company within collection and recycling of materials like steel, metal, EE-waste, and electrical components. As a part of this, the company runs two big shredder mills for fragmentation of cars in Norway, with a capacity of more than 55 000 cars. Veolia Miljø is also a partner in five different companies running demounting and recycling of discarded cars.
